Vitamin C Rich Serums + Oils
Using a serum rich in vitamin C, from ascorbic acid or from plant oils (like ours), is considered the most effective way to see the benefits of vitamin C. Serums are more concentrated and tend to affect deeper layers of the skin. While using vitamin C rich masks and moisturizers are great, they tend to not be as effective long term.

Rosehip Oil: Rosehip oil is derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile and pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant.
Rosehip oil has been used for its healing and regenerative benefits. This oil is loaded with nourishing vitamin C, essential fatty acids and phenols that have been shown to be anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and gently exfoliating. Sea Buckthorn Oil: Sea Buckthorn oil has been used in Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. The fruit contains a high concentration of natural Vitamin C. Sea Buckthorn is also rich in vitamin E, omega 3’s and beta carotene. It has a beautiful rich red colour and works well to hydrate, regenerate, and protect sensitive or reactive skin types. Black Cumin Oil: Black Cumin Oil is cultivated throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. This oil has a high amount of A, B, and C Vitamins and minerals including potassium, copper, zinc and selenium. This oil quickly absorb deep into the skin to effectively nourish and soften, while boosting cellular circulation. You can find Black Cumin oil in our Radiant Bath + Body Oil.

Apply your serum morning and night: Vitamin C fights against environmental damage, UV rays, and protects your skin from pollution when you’re out all day. For the most effective results, make sure to apply your serum morning and night.
Wear SPF with your Vitamin C: Applying a layer of sunscreen on top of your vitamin C helps to make both products more effective. The vitamin C helps to protect your skin from UV damage and the sunscreen helps prevent the vitamin C from oxidizing.
Store your product in a cool, dark, dry place: To prevent oxidation, keep your serum stored in a cool, dark place. Also, make sure the lid is completely sealed to prevent any air getting into the product. This helps keep your vitamin C serum potent and effective.
