Recipe | DIY Coffee + Sugar Scrub

It’s officially Spring - and although it doesn’t quite feel like it yet, soon we’ll be exposing our skin that’s been kept hidden for all these cold, dry months. We’ve probably neglected our skin over the winter, since we tend to forget to take care of body parts that are often covered. Scrub off all of that dry, flaky dead winter skin! Making your own body scrubs is easy. We’ve chosen these two recipes to share with you! Both are all natural, non-toxic and great for sensitive skin types.


Coffee Body Scrub
1 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup fresh coffee grounds
3 tbsp olive oil

Coffee is invigorating, awakening and brightening. I like to use this scrub in morning showers.

Lavender Vanilla Body Scrub
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup grapeseed oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp dried lavender flowers
5-10 drops lavender essential oil

Lavender is calming, soothing and healing; this is a great night time relaxation blend.
