5 Holiday Emergency Skincare Tips by Cassandra Bradshaw

It’s safe to say holiday madness is well underway. Between social commitments, travelling, excess sugar, caffeine, and alcohol consumption, this can be a physically taxing time of year–with effects often presenting on the skin. If, like us, you plan on indulging big time these next few weeks, you won’t want to miss our 5 wellness tips to keeping your skin radiant and glowing into the new year–and beyond!

Our ‘Uplift’ roll on is great to have on hand for the morning after a holiday party. Close your eyes, take deep breaths and roll the aromatherapy oil blend onto your temples + nape of neck (into hairline). The active ingredients of Bergamot, Geranium + Frankincense work beautifully to relax the mind, enhance your mood, and easy worry.


Excess sugar, caffeine and alcohol all take a toll on our skin and compromise our moisture levels. If you’re like me and want to enjoy indulging without sacrificing your skin’s natural radiance, be sure to take precautionary measures; after a night out, make sure you come home and wash your face. Then, apply toner and face serum. Layer our Protecting + Restoring Face Balm on top of your face serum. I’m all for satiating my sweet tooth, but I know that when I consume these types of foods, my body is more likely to experience inflammation. Inflammation can manifest on our skin as redness, cystic blemishes (red bumps that are sometimes painful when touched), irritation, and can make our skin hot to the touch. When my skin becomes inflamed I like to use our Healing Eczema Balm to soothe and calm any affected areas. This balm can be applied over top of any toners, serums and moisturizers. I like to layer it over our Face Balm before going to bed, this allows it to act as a healing mask while i’m sleeping.
