Whether you’re heading back to school or just getting back into the swing of a routine, brush up on your skincare basics with Julie’s 4 skincare rules to live by, the foundation of a daily ritual, and a guide to how much product you should be using.  

Your personal experience with our line of skincare may differ, since everyone's skin is unique and routines need to be adjusted according to the season. The 4 rules to live by for glowing skin

#1 Sleep: One of the best things you can do for your skin. Aim for 8 hours a night

#2 Drink plenty of water: to stay hydrated and keep your body happy and healthy. I also love herbal teas like red raspberry, oat straw, nettle, fennel, peppermint.

#3 Mindful eating: Digestion is key to healthy, beautiful, clear skin. Listen to your body and feed it what it needs. Make sure you are having at least one bowel movement daily.

#4 Don't pick anything: This is so hard but trust me, it works. The less you pick, the less scarring you have.


Daily skincare ritual

Cleanse nightly to remove all dirt and make-up. Massage cleanser into wet skin and remove with a damp face cloth.

Tone after cleansing and when your skin needs a pick-me-up.

Moisturize! Hydrate and protect your skin morning and night. Julie always massages a face Serum into her freshly washed, damp skin OR combine with water/toner in your palm before applying. Use AM or PM or both, whichever you feel work best for your skin.

Every morning when you apply your serum, Massage your face by following our Natural Facelift Ritual. This is Julie’s secret weapon to tone, smooth and detoxify with lasting results.
In the fall + spring she layers serum under moisturizer. In the winter, she layers it under face balm. 

For blemishes, apply a spot treatment directly onto imperfections. One drop is all you need!

Exfoliate three times a week to rejuvenate your complexion and regenerate skin cells.

Clarify your pores and draw out impurities once a week with a Clay Mask. Try a Superfood Mask: mix 1 tsp Clay Mask with 1 tsp honey + yogurt. Or try another one of our DIY mask recipes.

 For bright eyes, apply our Eye Serum to the contour of the eye by gently tapping the skin with your ring finger. Always apply to damp skin or combine with equal parts water/toner before applying.

 Every night tell your skin how much you love it!

This is a very general guide to using our products; your personal preference or skin needs will vary. Do what feels right for you!

A little goes a long way, and remember to always apply pure oils with equal parts water or toner so they will go further and penetrate deeper!
