My Favourite Green Smoothie

Ingredients for green smoothie all tossed into a blender: handfuls of spinach, parsley, ginger, lime, pineapple, avocado, stalks of celery, flax seed and chia seed.

I'm so inspired by the shifting seasons and this beautiful weather we've been having. I know in Toronto this weather is fleeting so I wanted to seize the opportunity and make something special. This super green, bright, dreamy smoothie is made with a handful of ingredients and will definitely add a bit of springtime pep to your day.


2 handfuls of spinach

1/8 cup parsley

1" piece of ginger

1 lime peeled

1/2 cup pineapple

1/4 avocado

1-2 stalks of celery

2 cups of water or coconut water

Optional additions:

chia seeds, ground flax seed, hemp hearts or protein powder

Directions: Blend everyone together and enjoy!
