Tahini Hot Chocolate by Holistic Nutritionist Fran Allen

There's nothing we love more than a warm mug of hot chocolate and some cookies to snack on during the busy holiday season. This quick and easy tahini hot chocolate recipe makes the perfect drink to accompany your holiday treats.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups of milk of your choice
  • 3 Tbsp tahini
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp cacao
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Marshmallows, toasted sesame seeds, whip cream or shaved chocolate to garnish if you like.

Directions

  1. Add milk, tahini and maple syrup to a small sauce pan on medium heat. Whisk until tahini is fully melted.
  2. Then add your cacao, maple syrup, cinnamon and sea salt. Whisk until fully warmed through. Taste and add more syrup if you like.
  3. Transfer hot chocolate into cups and top with whatever you like and enjoy!
