Senior Holistic Skin Therapist
Cassandra began her aesthetic career in 2010 working as a Makeup Artist and Skincare Expert. Through this, she found her passion lay in helping people look and feel like the best version of themselves, prompting her to further her skills in aesthetics. She educated herself on a variety of holistic healing modalities, and as she experienced positive results she wanted to share this knowledge with others so that she could help them to begin healing from the inside out. In 2013 Cassandra attended a workshop hosted by Province Apothecary founder Julie Clark and was inspired by Julie’s approach to aromatherapy and healing. This led her to a skin therapy position at Province Apothecary where she developed the Full Brow + Lash treatments. In 2018, Cassandra completed her certificate at the Healing Fragrances School of Aromatherapy in Toronto and looks forward to expanding her aromatherapy skills both in the clinic and her personal life. She's excited to help you feel amazing in your own skin!
Senior Holistic Skin Therapist
Alternative medicine has been an interest of Vanessa’s since her teen years. After experiencing hormonal issues in her early 20s which affected her skin and overall health, Vanessa turned towards a holistic approach and started to care for herself in a more nurturing way. This focus on self-care became her professional mission statement as well; she came to see that products that she was using on herself and her clients were not only damaging to the body but also the environment and instead switched to natural therapeutic plant ingredients. Recently she travelled through South East Asia and the Eastern healing practices like Ayurved and Reiki further inspired her. She’s excited to be back at Province Apothecary after her travels, and continues to demonstrate her passion for health and healing through her work in our clinic.

She is excited to continue to learn and grow her mastery of wellness, and to share this knowledge with her clients. Danielle is also certified in Facial Jade Stone Gua Sha and Thai Herbal Poultice. Junior Holistic Skin Therapist
Dixie has early memories of standing on tiptoes at the bathroom counter, watching her grandma slowly trailing a towel through steaming hot water, wringing it out, and carefully massaging it across her face and neck. This nightly ritual was a window into what seemed a mysterious, sacred practice, and established a lifelong fascination with uncovering just what it means to care for our skin. Dixie began her career with Province Apothecary as a production assistant, learning about the therapeutic benefits of botanical ingredients and their wider implications in the spheres of health and beauty. This led her to study aesthetics at Canadian Beauty College and continue to train extensively with Province founder Julie Clark. Dixie is thrilled to combine her ever-growing inquiry into the nature of the skin with this deeply restorative treatment technique. Cultivating the connection between one's internal landscape and its influence on the skin and overall wellness informs the core of her practice, and she's excited to empower her clients to do the same.

Frances’ journey into holistic skincare started later in life. While dealing with the stress of attending art school and working full time, she noticed her skin and body crying out for help and began to connect how her lifestyle was wreaking havoc on her hormones and body. The inability to find effective solutions from conventional products drew her to find a new path in holistic health and led her to study at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, where she graduated with honors. Her approach to healing follows the ethos of slow and steady: healing is a journey. She hopes to help and inspire people to make small changes in their life for the better by nourishing their body inside and out. When Frances isn’t at the clinic she can be found cooking at home, gardening and foraging for wild herbs with her partner Steve and dog Martha.
