Julie Clark is the creator and founder of Province Apothecary. After struggling with allergies and eczema all her life, she began crafting natural, organic beauty products out of her kitchen. In 2010 she started studying Aromatherapy, Holistic Health and Aesthetics in Toronto. Here she formed the foundation of her skincare expertise, experimenting with raw materials and natural ingredients. Province Apothecary was started in 2011, and has quickly grown out of Julie's house and into a storefront + skincare clinic in Little Portugal, Toronto. Julie is continually learning and experimenting. She has most recently been studying herbalism and TCM facial techniques. Julie thoroughly trains all of our aestheticians to ensure they all share the same knowledge and techniques. Our skincare clinic and holistic approach to customized facials is Julie's pride and joy. She specializes in extremely sensitive skin and milia extraction.
Cassandra Bradshaw began her aesthetic career in 2010, and from the beginning she specialized in facial + eyebrow treatments and while working as a Makeup Artist for beauty, tv and film, she found her passion lay in helping peoplefeel and look their best. Julie and Cassandra met at a ‘make your own skincare’ workshop that Julie hosted in 2013. Cassandra enjoyed playing around with oils and scrubs and began formulating her own products. It was around the time of Julie’s workshop that she became really passionate about holistic health and natural beauty. From there, she began to try and heal herself of her personal health issues with immensely positive results that showed through her skin. With a knowledge of both the synthetic + natural health and beauty industries, Cassandra is confident in the power of green beauty. In only a short period of time, she has seen many amazing results through the use of natural, organic raw materials as opposed to synthetic, chemical-laden products. She's excited to help you feel amazing in your own skin - naturally!

Vanessa realized early in her aesthetics studies that holistic healing and natural skin therapies would be her focus and her passion. After adopting a vegan diet, she saw the positive effect that wholesome foods had on her skin. This dietary revelation played a significant role in sparking her interest in green beauty, and Vanessa continued her education and became a certified nutrition coach. With an interest in learning about other cultural approaches that bring balance to one's body, Vanessa has studied Ayurvedic techniques and the art of Yin and Yang. She is excited to share her diverse knowledge and experience, bringing balance into both her client's lives and her own.
