High Park
Toronto’s largest public park has so much to offer. I love taking my dog for a hike in the off-leash area or going for a walk along the water. There is so much space and so much variety! I recommend taking your next workout over here.

4Life Natural Foods
I have been going to this place since it was a tiny fruit stand and now it has blossomed into a big beautiful grocer. Pots and his team source the best quality ingredients with an all organic array of fresh produce, ferments, organic deli and bulk section. There is always something new and exciting to bring home and experiment with. I recommend getting a loaf of their grain free seeded loaf, it’s a great treat that makes the best toast!

Hello Mellow
My favourite weird and wonky shop located in a tiny nook on Harbord Street. Allison and Ivan do their best to source all of their products from small independent businesses. I love looking through their thoughtful selection to pick up gifts for loved ones (or myself). I love their Mood Indigo Tea to make beautiful blue lattes, it makes avoiding caffeine so much more fun!

Dufferin Grove Farmers Market
This is my neighbourhood farmers market held weekly every Thursday from 3-7. It’s a great community party with lots of local fresh food and healthy prepared meals. I would suggest grabbing and Earth and City Cowgirl Cookie and touring around after work to see what local and seasonal produce peaks your interest.

Lailbela Restaurant
This place is amazing for a cheap, quick and nutritious meal. I love going for Ethiopian and sharing a vegan platter for two with a friend. They have a gluten free option for injera, the bread used to eat the meal, made of fermented Teff flour. Warm, filling and full of many delicious spices and flavours, be sure to visit when you’re in the neighbourhood!

Hello 123
I love heading to this all-vegan restaurant for brunch on my day off. So many bright and colourful options to suit any diet. I love their Breakfast Bowl and Paleo Party Bowl. They also have a great turmeric latte for all of you caffeine-free needs.

Aux Vivres
Aux Vivres has a number of tasty and nutritious options that are appropriate for the Reset program. They have two locations and also sell their vegan salads/bowls in health food shops and grocery stores all over the city. Convenient for a grab and go snack or meal situation!

Le Kitchen
Similar to Aux Vivres, Le Kitchen offers fresh, convenient veggie-centered bowls and salads. They have a summer pop-up at Atwater Market, for anyone in that area. They also sell their vegan pret-a-manger items in numerous health food stores all over the city.

Lov
With their two beautifully designed spaces, Lov offers a more sit-down brunch, lunch, or dinner experience. Always something tasty and nourishing to enjoy from their vegan and wheat-free menus! Make a reservation prior, to ensure you and your crew can eat with ease.

Restaurant Candide
This dinner-only spot is my personal fave. A stunning, ‘hidden’ restaurant located between Little burgundy and Griffintown neighbourhoods. They offer a seasonal, vegetable-centric 4-course menu - that is creative and delicious. Do specify your dietary needs upon making a reservation, and enjoy this truly MTL food experience - celebrating local ingredients!

Copper Branch
This vegan chain with several locations offers a quick stop for breakfast smoothies, bowls and salads. With numerous menu items to choose from, you can be sure to find a tasty, nourishing meal.

April Matheson’s Vancouver City Recommendations

April is our Province Apothecary brand rep in Vancouver. When not spreading green beauty goodness, she spends her free time exploring the mountains and soaking up as much ocean air as possible.

Nectar Juicery
They take care of you like family here—just tell your juicerista how you’re feeling and they’ll make you the perfect potion to balance your day! With four locations and a selection of easy grab and go varieties this is the perfect place to get your juice fix!

Nuba
This Lebanese eatery has so many options for healthy eats when you’re looking for a great dining experience. They use organic and local products whenever possible and source their meat and fish from small farmers. Lots of vegan and gluten-free options to choose from, great for all diets. Visit any one of their four locations for a nourishing meal

Semperviva Yoga
Head to Diane’s restorative classes when you ready to treat yourself to some bliss. They have several locations throughout the city.

Quarry Rock hiking trail
This is a lighter hike that still greats you moving but won’t overwhelm you when you’re cleansing. The pinnacle of the hike not only has a gorgeous view of Deep Cove but it’s a great spot to just sit in stillness.

The Good Spirit
Nourish yourself on a whole other level with introspection, intuition & inspiration guided by the Good Spirit boutique & tarot studio! Their retail area offers introductory tools to help you gain clarity including books, crystals and up and coming wellness brands. Their incredible staff can guide you to a more peaceful present with their full service tarot studio offering readings daily!

Honey Hi
Best breakfast/lunch spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. The entire restaurant is free of gluten, refined sugar, gmo's or vegetable oil .They source organic, local produce and pasture raised proteins. You’ve got to try their sweet potato toast and merman smoothie! They have one location but offer delivery via Caviar

Beaming
My favorite smoothie spot, they have a wide range of drinks and can make any smoothie low glycemic by switching bananas and dates with avocado. They are great for grab and go foods like bars and chia parfaits. They have the best vegan and gluten free chocolate chip cookie. They have 7 locations throughout LA and also offer delivery via Postmates

Erewhon Natural Foods
Erewhon is the grocery store of health food dreams. It’s got everything from CBD lemonade to supplements to Cassava flour tortillas and supplied by so many local companies, which is always nice to support. Best hot bar for grab and go breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have four locations throughout LA

Detox market
A green beauty haven. I love stocking up on my favorite non toxic skincare, make-up, hair care and nail polish. It’s a great one stop shop for all of you green beauty needs!

Pause Float
They have these pods that have a ton of magnesium salt in them to make you float, also they’re completely dark, ends up being extremely relaxing. Perfect for improving sleep and getting rid of muscle pain and tension. They have infrared saunas for extra detoxing benefits

A macrobiotic institution with three convenient locations. The $13 bento box is a feast replete with kimpira, miso, kabocha, ginger, and fresh cut of salmon with crispy edges and pesto.

Bright and beautiful, a Red Hook newcomer with veg-studded porridge, jammy eggs, massive local tomato sandwiches, and a "decaf" drink- roasted dandelion & chicory roots, ashwagandha, coconut butter, oat milk, and honey. Cute garden in the back to eat in!

Super Natural Cafe at WOOM Center
Run by holistic nutritionist and herbal practitioner, Rachelle Robinett, who will create a custom medicinal drink for you on the spot. Grab one before a sound bath in the studio.

Harriet's Apothecary
